I'm sure this is an RTFM question, and believe me I have tried. On an earlier version of XBMC (v10 I think) I had a variation of the Confluence skin that wouldn't "clear" the Now Playing queue when you pressed Stop. The Now Playing queue would be there, in the order shuffle put it in, and I was able to resume where I left off (assuming i remembered the last song that was playing).

So I guess the basic question is: Is there a way to change the default behavior of Stop to not clear the Playing Now queue?

Please note, I am not trying to Pause. I was able to launch external links, like a third party PVR, do whatever, then return to XBMC, go to the Playing Now queue and still see me previous playlist loaded in the shuffled order.

I hope this isn't silly or confusing.

Thanks for any help and apologies if this was a self service answer; i just couldn't find it.
