First of all,

i love your skin. I think it is a big step for XBMC the way scripts and addons are used the transitions etc..


But...

Microsoft is making a Xbox One with the goal to make the console more Home Cinema "Live TV" "Xbox Music" it is all on the Xbox One

so making a product that can be downloaded for free and looks like an identical copy of the Xbox One home screen is asking for trouble

as soon the first n00b that calls microsoft because his "xbox one" does not play 3D MKV files and the Microsoft desk finds out it is actually a XBMC clone
(that person just got it from a friend.. he doesn't give a shit about computers)

then the hole skin has to be remade


be smart change the logo's and the names before its way to much work

no way this works on a pi, right?

@grote345 : Thanks, and yeah in the next update i release i will be adding custom pins, so then you could add a windows 8 app with advanced launcher and then pin it to the dashboard
@thedeadman : I have found some alternative fonts that could be used and they look pretty much the same.

@Martijn : i have been looking around for some alternative fonts and I have found some open source ones that look pretty much the same as the SegoeWP font.
joeblack2k : Thanks ! , Yeah I might change some small things around soon, but then it doesn't really have the xbox one look & feel to it.
@treyallday : Yeah this works fine on the raspberry pi, my mate tested it out on his and it seemed to work fine

(You can install it from XBMC addons section, or just extract it to your addons folder in appdata\roaming\xbmc\addons\)

You will also need to install the dependencies in order for all the features to work, you can get them from here : http://www.mediafire.com/download/o40byp...encies.zip
(You just extract to contents to your addons folder in appdata\roaming\xbmc\addons\)

(if you want to use a gamerpic just go into xbmc profiles, click your profile, and change picture.)


In this update the live tv section still isn't working yet but i will hopefully be releasing an update in a few days that will fix this. But you can set a live tv alternative in the settings section
e.g. tvcatchup addon)

There is also a few more things that really need to be changed like some of the buttons, views need to be added, tv store section a lot needs to be changed , activity section, music section and a big clean-up of unused files and i will be uploading a small update in a few days that will fix this.

Toyota you are the best ,the skin works really great but I have a question is it possible to pin the favorites the home screen in the pin section ? just like the real xbox one ?

just a request: could you make most of the large images and extra (non-essential) graphics to be on a separate package download from the skin. for reducing immensely the package sizes?

the dependencies mediafire link is invaild file got deleted

skin doesnt work dependencies structure is not right

an extracted the skin doesn show up so i tried installing from zip an i get dependencies not met

Im not sure why it's doing that because i've tested it on my mates computer and it all worked fine.

Have you tried extracting the skin.zip and copying it to your addons folder ?
And then you have to extract the Dependencies folder to your addons folder.

That's what i did first extracted both zips put them in the correct addons folder an nothing

The addons folder located in your appdata location ? e.g. "C:\Users\%Username%\Appdata\Roaming\XBMC\addons\"

If not then try extracting this addon.xml into the main skin folder : http://www.mediafire.com/download/3ytiq3.../addon.xml

i've just tested it out on another computer and it works fine on there aswell, so i can't see why it isn't working for you.
