I'm using the VNSI4 addon from your Frodo branch and the latest VDR plugin from this repo. XBMC is 12.2 on OpenELEC 3.1.1.
Sometimes, when watching an HD channel, both video and audio freeze for about 5 seconds and then continues just fine for over 2 hours and counting.

The channel was VOX HD, which is descrambled by the dvbapi VDR plugin (connects to oscam).

I found an issue in the code which may responsible for this. I will push something to my vnsi4 branch this evening.
Okay, thank you very much for looking into it.
By the way, would you recommend to use the VDR plugin from FernetMenta/xbmc-pvr-addons/frodo or opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr-addons/master?
(when using the FernetMenta/xbmc-pvr-addons/frodo XBMC addon)
I am sorry, the code which i though has an issue look ok. If the pes buffer maximum size is reached, the parser was not able to parse a frame (in your case video). maybe vdr still receives scrambled data.

Only use the vnsi addon from my Frodo branch. I don't maintain this branch, it holds just a backport of the addon. btw. Frodo does not support timeshift because this functionality is broken in pvr in this version.

Now I am a little bit confused, because I am using Frodo 12.2 and timeshift is working, I only experience problems with ffwing in timeshift mode.

Is Gottham stable enough for daily use? Because it is currently still in Alpha status.
timeshift does something in Frodo but seek brings you not to the position you would expect. Hence ff/rw don't work accurate either.

I have my master branch in daily use, which is Gotham + the modifications you find here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=116996
Ok, thanks for the info, since I do not need the amd support, I will stick to the official xbmc repo and give it a try. To you suggest master or alpha5 of Gotham?
I don't use AMD either. If you use vdpau, you should definitely try my master. I can't suggest any other version because I don't use them myself. mainline master should be closest.
