Is there any addon to edit database-entries in xbmc? I have many TV-recordings not available in public databases. Documentaries for instance are usually not in movie-databases. I really don't wanna write an nfo-file for every recording I do. Is there some kind of addon to "scrape" such recordings manually? At best such an addon would have a template-function to change only title and description of a new episode of a documentary-show.
Thank you. I guess this was what I'm looking for but I can't install it. When I choose "install from zip" xbmc says the addon has a wrong structure.
I just got it. Inside the zip-file is a readme-file. It reads:
Quote:1.0.0
Just simply put an unzipped copy of this in addons and the final directory should be called metadata.justUseFilename.org and restart xmbc. I will try my best to get this added to the offical repository.
I did as described and now it works. Thanks again.
Can you give me a few tips on usage?
I can scrape my documentaries now. But they don't appear in the recently added movies. Posters and fanarts I can change manually within xbmc. Is there a way to give them all at once the genre-tag "documentary"?
Sorry, I don't use this personally, so I can't offer any advice. I use NFO files for home and obscure videos.
Too bad. But thank you nevertheless. An addon for writing nfo-files automatically doesn't exist also, does it? Never mind, I can try it with bash-scripts.
