Hi all,

I mistakenly messed with my xorg.conf a while ago, and have only just rebooted my XBMCbuntu box.

It started when I ran "sudo service lightdm start", any ideas what I am looking for in my xorg.conf please?

I dont know much about the xorg data but did rename the file and restart the computer to start fresh - so to speak
the computer will then default to original
great thanks, I'll try that! :-)
I tried it and when it booted up without the TV turned on, it didn't output any video.

Although when i had the TV turned on, it booted to XBMC as I wished :-) I'll try a few times more with the TV turned off and report back if I'm still struggling, thanks in advance for the help lee
Extract the edid of your TV and setup xbmcbuntu to use that, so it will think that the TV is always on and connected. It will prevent the blank screen if xbmcbuntu boots up with the TV off.
