no need to pm you, its the second set of code is the settings2.xml that was autotuned from my list of premium channels.
and it could be on my end, who knows but you didn't even answer some of the questions i asked beforehand to help me try and figure out if it was.
for example:
1. since this only works in gotham, what do i do with all the Dependencies required in first post that are all for frodo?
2. does gotham have them all automatically?
3. Are you using Gotham beta 2 or 3?
4. do i need to update librtmp after upgrading to gotham or does it do that automatically? all the info i see for librtmp is in regards to frodo.
5. what settings excactly should i set in pseudo. all i am doing currently is leaving it at default, enabling debugging and running autotune with ustvnow.

1, 2. You install them, Gotham wil update them if needed...
3. Gotham nighties
4. Yes, you need to update librtmp every time you update XBMC.
5. Default is optimal settings, but you should also add recommend changes found in post 2. and you should tweak your advancedsettings bgthreadingmode.
You should also make sure you don't have any xbmc widgets or services that cause issues with PTVL found in post 3.

just went and tried this on a fresh install on my main PC. running windows 7
system specs:
I7 2600k
16gb ram
7970 GPU
intel SSD
followed all your instructions and tips, its a fresh gotham nightly install, with just everything needed to run autotune for ustvnow and its doing the EXCACT same thing as on my HTPC.
it doesnt play, and it freezes the xbmc when trying to change channel or exit.
can you please let me know what else i can try now.
starting to think this is an issue with me being premium user for ustvnow.

You said you were running default settings? it looks like you have background updating turned on? set it to minimal.

ok so its not because of my premium then as to why its not working for me. grr. i just tried 3 more times with background set to minimal, it did the same, and also tried it with off. not sure if it means anything but when the screen loads i get this: see how it has the "seeking" ever time it opens that is up there always with a different seek time. have no idea why it would be doing this and what could be causing it?

ok so its not because of my premium then as to why its not working for me. grr. i just tried 3 more times with background set to minimal, it did the same, and also tried it with off. not sure if it means anything but when the screen loads i get this: see how it has the "seeking" ever time it opens that is up there always with a different seek time. have no idea why it would be doing this and what could be causing it?

This isn't anything new... seeks been a known issue and was disabled for chtype 8 and 9 a long time ago...
I can't even duplicate your problem... because seek is disabled, is anyone else out there noticing seeking on chtypes 8 or 9?
It maybe something unique to your remote setup?

im not even using a remote on the new setup, im doing all this testing on the fresh clean install which is running on my main PC, just using a keyboard. and yeah its for 100% sure an issue with this seeking, its for some reason seeking on startup and that is causing it to freeze. i just replicated it in ustvnow plugin by trying to seek a stream and it froze also. guess im going to have to wait for a fix, hopefully in one of the new nightlies soon.
at least we have diagnosed what the issue is, but if you say it is supposed to disable seeking for those channel types i dont know why it is doing it, i dont even press any buttons at all it just loads up and does that straight away.
might try disabling keyboard inputs and just do it from mouse

What's odd is I don't have a seek problem, even when using the premium account... Maybe its because I'm in the ustvnow timezone. Maybe ustvnow tries to time shift based on region??
Is your PTVL set for realtime? What mode are you in?

yeah it could be, it is set in realtime as that is default. what other option could i try? resume?
EDIT: tried all the different options all did the same thing. even tried setting my PC clock to US time lol same deal.
what us time did you use? lol
PC time wouldnt matter...
Um us east? What time should I try lol. Really doubt this will do anything but worth a go I suppose
