It it just me or did the custom USTVNOW plugin just suddenly stop working (7/7/2014 1:30 PM EST)? It stopped working in PSTVL and FTV Guide (they both use the same custom plugin) If I go into the USTVNOW plugin itself I am not listing any channels just blank. It was working literally 5 minutes ago and now isn't. Is it just me? I tested the origional un modified one and it works just fine.

I posted the log a couple pages back but it got buried I think. Everything is on samba now, which is password protected. It was on NFS until recently, which was not password protected.
Hey Luna, a few days ago I mentioned that I was having freezes and lock ups. I deleted the cache, rebuilt my channels, and it seems to be going great now! It's been running for about 6 hours now--rather than 6 MINUTES before I deleted the cache. For anyone who has this issue on an R Pi, try deleting the cache! I even have Dynamic Artwork running and it FLIES with no freezes.

Try building channels that don't use mp4 videos, let me know if you still have problems...

I don't have any non-mp4 videos. Every single video file(thousands) I have is h.264/AAC+AC3 mp4. It's an anal-retentive thing.

If you truly have file permission and xbmc authentication to the network I believe some of your files are poorly encoded or corrupt.

You're good. Scanned the permissions on my samba share, and a few random files had the permissions wrong. Set them appropriately, reset cache and channels on PTVL(just to be sure) and now it works perfectly. Thanks alot!
would someone please explain to me quick what I'm doing wrong. auto tune worked great for setting up my initial channels. I tried to create my first channel and failed miserably. I was a little confused by the guide on the first page as to what I was supposed to enter. I'd like to create a channel that plays a playlist off of my youtube channel. This is what I came up with

<setting id="Channel_31_1" value="[email protected]" />
<setting id="Channel_31_2" value="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2DIzyjO33hSGAIf51CwpOGPAsAk-v3gm" />
<setting id="Channel_31_3" value="50" />
<setting id="Channel_31_4" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_31_changed" value="True" />
<setting id="Channel_31_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_31_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_31_rule_1_opt_1" value="My Youtube Music Videos" />

pstvl did not like it!
I don't believe I have the @gmail.com in my YouTube channel

This settings is way off from what it's suppose to be, go back and look through posts 1-3, Look at the youtube example... where does it show a email address, or a full youtube link?
i've been over the posts enough... its not that I haven't read them, its that I'm not implementing what I read correctly. from the posts:
User Playlist Example:

<setting id="Channel_#_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_#_1" value="PL9bsPVRSg1sl0kSa99jrim69esS0lQrkF" />
<setting id="Channel_#_2" value="2" />
<setting id="Channel_#_3" value="" />
<setting id="Channel_#_4" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_#_changed" value="True" />
<setting id="Channel_#_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_#_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_#_rule_1_opt_1" value="User Playlist" />

_1" value="MotorTrend" --- Channel info (Username, Playlist, Channel, Search term, Raw gdata url).

_2" value="1" --- Youtube Channel information; Examples include:
"2" User Playlist = Your username playlist (Log into your youtube account, click playlist, select a playlist... copy the url information ( http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list= COPYME ))

utilizing the above example and information, I put my username where "motor trend" is. and I copied the url of my playlist and put it where the "1" is for channel_31_2.

I understand that this is wrong, but I don't understand why

Does :
Code:

Look remotely close to:
Code:

<setting id="Channel_#_type" value="10" />

Does :
Code:
<setting id="Channel_31_2" value="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2DIzyjO33hSGAIf51CwpOGPAsAk-v3gm" />

It should be clear now? the examples are spot on samples of what you need to add, except for a few changes...

You seem to be confusing the need to have both playlist URL and youtube username in the same channel...you pick one example..one type of channel. Either one based off your username or ur playlist link. Not both.

@Lunatixz Quick question, does the pvr backend not work with IPTV simple client? I have that set up on my macbook to test. Live TV works fine with that PVR but autotune does not pick up any PVR backend at all. Really odd. Nothing jumps out to me in the log http://pastebin.com/8DmMLt6V
Hey Luna, just wanted to thank you for the fantastic job you continue to do, PSTVL continues to get better day by day. I have one problem i couldn't solved so i'm asking for your help. In the screenshot the artwork is displaying the wrong artwork, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7yvkdni9py6cb...LEfg0-azEa LOG https://www.dropbox.com/s/0aagputua9ejedj/xbmc.log

No, IPTV simple client is based off a demo and doesn't appear to support json request, which is the heart of autotune...
