All these people with working USTVNOW and I'm stuck without it cuz I live in the US.

BOO!

=)
Hi,

I tried searching through this thread and read a lot of the documentation and still am stuck. Hopefully somebody can help me out.

What I am trying to do is create a custom live channel of online streams that only air a certain times.

So for example, if I were putting basketball game streams on channel 1 they would only be live between 7:30-10:30 I want it to show up in the EPG like this.

Now what I am planning to do is have a background program update the stream files as necessary and save them to the local drive. Then hopefully I can map the channel to the stream file to pull in the data I have saved. (The rest of the times when the stream isn't live on the channel I plan to fill it with other non live data randomly)

Is this possible?

Also what format should I save the data to that can handle the information such as time/stream/information that works with the epg.

Hopefully this is possible and somebody can point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking at.
I live in us and my ustvnow works
This add-on is simply amazing. Thank you very much for your support on this guys, I really do appreciate it. One thing I would like to ask please... PseudoTV Live auto tunes just fine for me...finds all my USTV channels, videos my library everything I ask of it. It populates the channels and starts up with the guide.

However, after changing the channel once or twice, or lets say an hour of watching, pseudotv Live stops working. When I press enter I get the regular skin overlay menu. The channel up and down are now big skips forward and back. What's going on? Is there something I am missing?

I was really hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Cheers!

How did you get them to work?

Nothing fancy. It just works if you use the USTVNOW add-on that Lunatixz made.

I just installed USTVNOW - DIXIE

Seems to be working. Thanks!

Two things on a different note:

1. It's not autotune from my favorites/subscriptions from my Youtube account. For Youtube username, isn't it just your email address without the @gmail.com part?
2. I would really like to make a twitch.tv channel for Dota 2 with the main broadcasters. I can't seem to figure it out, any suggestions?

Thanks again everyone!

You can change it in your settings2 file. Notice they are configured beggining in channel 2 thru 8, That's this way because I used Trutv as channel 1 and as my prefered channel. Hope this help.

What channel id's changed? I don't see any differences? the ids you listed are the same in my second post...

Sorry, You're correct. I remember now I was messing last weekend trying to make my own ustvnow xml using mc2xml with the Harrisburg zipcode and I changed the channel IDs, but forget to change them back. Go Figure!
Hi, newbie here. I am trying to get FTV channels on Pseudo TV EPG. I have favourited four FTV channels in the FTV video addon. For Pseduo TV, I go to Add On Settings --> AutoTune and select Find FTV faves and then run Autotune. Result: none of the four channels show up on the Pseudo TV EPG. What am I doing wrong?

I already have ustvnow channels using the special PseduoTV plugin and they work without problems.

Running Gotham 13.2 on 32bit Linux LXLE.

p.s. tried searching for pseudo FTV on forum but it does not allow search expression FTV and did not want to go through 500 posts. So if this has been solved elsewhere, a link would be much appreciated.

(2014-11-01, 04:38)arithine Wrote: [ -> ]Is there any way to get certain shows to only show the earliest unwatched episode until viewed then switch to the next episode in future instances? I tried using Lazy TV but it doesnt update after an eps been watched.

I would try activating advanced channel settings "In Order" and "Only Play Unwatched".

But if I missed an episode wouldn't it just skip right to the next one the next time the show is "aired"?
alright guys...usually at XBMC i'm pretty savvy but I give up. I need help. Lately I've been trying to use an EPG program to load an XMLTV file to display. I do not have an HDR but I do have links from multiple plugins and from Navi-X via favorites. (and imported them to my local XBMC favorites using another process)

I've tried FTV Guide but it doesn't display the EPG in EST.
TV Guide displays in my correct Time Zone doesn't work with links and gives me a black screen.

and PseudoTV LIVE works for autotune but can't detect my xmltv.xml file.. I used Zap2XML to convert listings from Zap2it and successfully achieved it. (after major headscraching) But it's the problem of Pseudo LIVE not displaying the XMLTV EPG or detecting it. My XMLTV file it simply called "XMLTV.xml" and it's on my desktop. I see settings.xml in the appdata area but I don't see settings2.xml. I'm trying to get this to work on a Fire TV with XBMC but for testing purposes and for quicker troubleshooting I'm also trying to get the XMLTV to display on XBMC on Windows and Kodi (2 installs)

any help would be greatly appreciated!!
ODD BEHAVIOR::

When I autotune, I have a series of 10 channels created that all have the "type" of "17"...17 isn't a valid type, is it? The PTVL Manager throws me that error on those channels, too. Example...

<setting id="Channel_237_type" value="17" />
<setting id="Channel_237_time" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_237_1" value="Channel" />
<setting id="Channel_237_2" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_237_3" value="Kids" />
<setting id="Channel_237_4" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_237_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_237_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_237_rule_1_opt_1" value="8" />
<setting id="Channel_237_changed" value="True" />

Why is autotune adding a channel type that doesn't exist? Or what is chtype 17, if it does exist? Thanks!

17 is an old internal chtype no longer supported... So just delete those old configurations... Smile
