Gotham? Did you reboot?, Did you try reapplying or uninstalling, reinstalling patch. Then reboot?
I did reboot. I uninstalled and reinstalled both the patch and PTVL. I am running Gotham. Whether I have the patch or not, the skins PTVL and Concast just show fanart. However, for the Default skin, if I do not have windowpatcher then it will not find any artwork at all, if I do have windowpatcher it'll have the video running in the bottom right corner (which makes no sense to have with the default skin) and you can tell that the video being played is actually layered over the fan art because you can see the edges. Weird. I'm also fully updated to 5.6 and I don't have the sidebar, not sure if that's related at all. In any event, I think this may have happened before and just fixed itself when the next update came out. I just wonder if I am the only one having this problem, I really like the Concast skin and would love to have video playing instead of the fan art.
Is there a collection of other fan made skins somewhere?
Check that. When I have Windowpatch disabled in concast it shows just the fanart. But when I do have it enabled it looks like this http://i.imgur.com/rtF5XXg.jpg
Not sure what happened. Worked totally fine before the update. Think maybe I need to reinstall one of the modules?
Video window patcher has nothing to do with artwork...
Try manually deleting your xbmc skin, reinstall... reapply patch and reboot xbmc
In reference to
my post above is there anyway to figure out exactly why a Channel is invalid? Is there a higher debug level I can set or something?
I have the doner edition too so it should be the latest version.

Fixed it by rolling back to 5.5. Hopefully 5.7 works better for my computer. Probably something weird/obscure causing the problem.
I dont want to ask a bunch of stupid questions in this thread but im really struggling to get this addon to even install. Ive installed the repo and it shows everything is incompatible with my current XBMC build. Im running 13.2.
Ive installed the repo and PTVL and PTVM both show as not compatible with my current build.
Im running XBMC on a Chromebox with OpenElec if that makes any difference.
Can someone point me to a current guide? All the ones Ive tried have not been current.
Thanks!

Have you installed the big list of dependencies on the first page that it says you must install first?
Hey Luna, new to the forum, but I have been trying to install and configure/use pseudotv with Kodi 14.0-BETA3 and the plugin errors when going through adding tv channels. I'm hoping you can help out cause I really don't understand it. Here's a link to the log. I've installed all dependencies, and i've followed this tutorial on youtue=be as well to install from the repo as well.

You should probably use 13.2 as helix isn't final.
PTVL currently only works on Gotham
It works on Helix beta, but it isn't supported or recommended. I run it on Helix and its fine.

Yes I have. I still continue to get "Dependencies not met" even tho Ive downloaded and installed every one of the required ones. Is there some other addon that will install the needed dependencies just in case I missed one? But Ive double checked and they all are installed so I dont think thats the case.

Yeah that's what I meant. Currently no Support. So if you have issues don't ask for assistance. Support will come when helix is officially compatible. (or when Luna says so)
Yep I went back to Gotham, and it worked first go... Cheers for the advice/info guys.

We all can use more finely produced visual aids like this. Keep up the good work.

Also having the same problem with the video window(Concast). I tried the artwork, which slowed down the EPG and I'd rather have the video anyway. I tried changing xbmc(13) to confluence and reapplying patch, the pop up displays, but doesn't indicate if it is enabling/disabling(displays fine with Aeon Nox Gotham). I just updated to 56b hoping it would fix this, but didn't. Would this show in the log? Anyone else having this problem?
Glad I'm not the only one. Did it work before the update?
