Try going into the PTVL settings (under the Autotune tab) and make sure you have your Kodi PVR setting option set to xmltv. I'm assuming you had this working at one point.
You should update to the latest version 0.5.8d if you haven't already.

Got it.

Here's a question. I assume this is related. I have to have a xmltv.xml file when populating Live TV channels, is this correct? I don't have it in the same directory as my settings2.xml. Is that why I'm getting the error?

If a xmltv.xml file is needed, is there anyway I can change what directory it reads it from? I'm trying to do this on a fire tv so it makes it hard to transfer an xmltv file to it every time.

the xmltv file can be in any folder or networkshare, just point it to the right place in the settings.

There are multiple channels unders "colors TV " how do i make them work under different channels. I have also copied the link just in case if someone wants to try....

https://www.youtube.com/user/colorstv

<setting id="Channel_5_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_5_time" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_5_1" value="colorstv" />
<setting id="Channel_5_2" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_5_3" value="25" />
<setting id="Channel_5_4" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_5_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_5_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_5_rule_1_opt_1" value="Colors TV" />

What do you mean by the bolded part above. Do you mean these: https://www.youtube.com/user/colorstv/channels ?
If so, those are separate user/channels. For example, click on the first one, and then on the name again (on the same line as the subscribe button). Then look at the URL: https://www.youtube.com/user/etvkannadaindia
"etvkannadaindia" is the user/channel.

If you want to create an individual PTVL channel from this youtube channel then you enter the user/channel name in this line:
<setting id="Channel_5_1" value="colorstv" />
ex: <setting id="Channel_5_1" value="etvkannadaindia" />
Do that for each channel you want.

If you want to group them all into one PTVL channel then use the following template:

<setting id="Channel_#_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_#_1" value="WatchMojo|HybridLibrarian" />
<setting id="Channel_#_2" value="8" />
<setting id="Channel_#_3" value="25" />
<setting id="Channel_#_4" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_#_changed" value="False" />
<setting id="Channel_#_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_#_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_#_rule_1_opt_1" value="Top Tens" />

The important bits being that rule 1 lists multiple user/channel names separated by "|", and rule 2 uses entry "8" to indicate a multi user/channel setup.

NOTE: Also, make sure you have the Youtube plugin installed.

Thanks Azrael17 for your reply, But i am still stuck, I must have not put my question correctly, my apologies. Here is what i want to do may be you can guide me better this time...
Under this ---> https://www.youtube.com/user/rindiantvshow
there are many other channels like Star Plus Show, Colors TV Show, SONY Entertainment Television Shows

When i click on Star Plus Show
https://www.youtube.com/user/rindiantvsh...=2&view=49
When i click on Colors TV Show
https://www.youtube.com/user/rindiantvsh...=1&view=49

How do i get to play them in different channels or on the same channels, If you could show me in an example that would be great. I appreciate you time and help.

Not to stress the point...with the new in-app channel manager... I figured you guys would be more interested in contributing to the community list?

Seems the idea of an open, free list that users can maintain is a lost cause? Since its inception, you guys have left me (and one or two users) maintaining it...

It's a shame, it will be 100% missed when its gone... This is the home to all the auto tune channels, No list = No autotune channels.

I'm starting to wonder if i'm too big a dreamer?

I had plans to integrate a web backend to this plugin, and move the community list to my website. Users could build their channel configurations and add community list feeds which would be stored on a server and downloaded to PTVL... but i'm starting to think this is a waste of my time?
You just implemented the in-app manager a few days ago, and it seems people are still struggling with small and big things here and there. Give people some time to get their setup right and then to play around with it. I'm sure once everything is working flawlessly and people can play around with it, there will be more contributions. I for example am only home on the weekends so I didn't really have a chance yet to play with it in depth.

I would not kill the idea at such an early stage.

I understand... I'm pushing the point... Nothing changing yet... trying to spike interest.

Trust me when I say, simply reminding users that a community list exists, doesn't work! The community list has been around for a year, and has little to no activity... yet every user seems to take advantage of it when they autotune...

I'll have some free time over the next couple of weeks, so I'll get some contributions in. They can be anything from plugins to youtube pages, right?
Hey Luna,
So after re-autotuning I went through and weeded out a bunch of the channels I don't want in the new Channel Manager. Works great, thanks!

I'm wondering if it would be possible to add two things to it?
1. The ability to have it repopulate the channel numbers to account for missing channels
2. the ability to easily move channels around in the listing with an up-down arrow or something like that.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Auto Tuning is PTVL training wheels... learn to configure your own channels... either manually or through in-app manager or through windows manager! But don't depend on auto tuning, you only take advantage of 10% of what PTVL can do when you use it...

The community list is edited off site on google code, links are posted all over post 1!

That button is for a upcoming feature when I move the list to my website... but honestly i'm considering dropping the idea... I don't think users are interested.
