It looks like an RSS source only displays the last however many items feed provides. I want to save all items that have been seen over time. Can Frodo do this?
Isn't it dependent on what the provider serves up at any given point in time?
Yes, the provider has a rolling set of "last 10" or whatever. XBMC should simply save all entries it sees over time.
It displays what is available on the site at the time... just like a web browser displays what is on a given URL presently, not what was on that page yesterday or last week.
Yopu could probably quite easily script something that downloads the rss feed and then adds it to a "history" file - then serve up the "history" file locally as your rss feed.
