Hi, does some build work properly on A31? I tried maybe 10 of them, but everytime got heavy stuttering. 1080P unwatchable...

have u tried their latest software?

Nope, not working. Got 2-3 fps on files, which stock player plays without problem. And XBMC crashes after few seconds of crappy playback....

Have you done anything with your audio settings? should be set to:

Audio output: Analog
Speaker configuration: 2.0

default setting...

I got the same box with firmware 1.27 and the same problem. The latest XBMC Android test build plays 720p MKV files almost perfect but for only approx. 30 sek. then XBMC crashes.

Either MeLE deleted their A1000G Facebook page or they banned me from it somehow. I guess they didn't like all the critical questions about this unstable box. I will recommend staying away from this box - bad support, MeLE don't involve themselves in communities and the box itself is very unstable.

oh well that has ruined my idea, got a mele a2000 and thought it would suitable for xbmc by the sound of it i will stick to using windows with my desktop system

Try this build, 1080p videos works perfect on my Allwinner A10 MK802.

Just tried it with the A1000G and when pressing play on a .MKV XBMC starts saying "Working.." and then the box freezes completely. To get it back to life I have to pull the power.

Your only solution then is to use XBMC with external player like Mxplayer.

Best will be to get a non-Allwinner device.

I've tried to get MXPlayer to get to work with XBMC but haven't succeded - I've tried both with the XAF package and with a clean XBMC where I just changed the xml file as needed but it won't work. So I'm trying to get DealExtreme to take back the MeLE player (fat chance) and will most likely buy the Minix X7 instead.

In any case: Never buy anything from MeLE - their account manager promissed me that their technician would contact me but that never happend. I tried writing the account manager (Susan) again but she has stopped replying to my (very polite) emails. This is by far the worst experience I've had with a Chinese company.

Never buy the Mele a1000g. Spread the word. They removed their facebook page because their was to much negative news about the a1000g. The android box keeps on crashing and Mele doesn't help. Sure not the box you have to buy when you want to use xbmc. After a few minutes of use the box crashes and gets out.

I fully agree and it's the same I read on forums around the world as well as on YouTube.
