Hey guys,

Currently I'm using an Apple TV 2 with XBMC but I would like to upgrade to something faster. Unfortunately ATV2 is really slow when browsing my +1000 movies library, switching menus, reading lists plus it doesn't support a fancy skin like AEON very well.

So, the idea is to replace it with something better on performance and that supports 1080p. Preferably a small device like ATV2 with a remote control.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks for the shout-out. I am working on getting an internal IR receiver/remote for these.

I was looking for something small and that has a remote. I don't want to have to built it myself. I'm comfortable with installing software and all but I would like to have the hardware "ready to go".

Do you guys know them? Are they any good? Are they faster than ATV2? I really want something that works with the best performance possible without the need to build a computer just for it.

Plenty of threads here about the MINIX and Pivos boxes, some even on the front page, with lots of experience and stories to tell.
