Hi. Newbie here.

I have a whole bunch of ripped DVD' when using linuxmce.

They have the extension .dvd

I there a way to add .dvd as a recognized video file so xbmc will list it ?
forgot to add. I can play the videos from windows and linux machines using VLC. FWIW.
I'm guessing that they're actually ISO files - images of the DVDs, basically. If so, take a look at this - if you create the advancedsettings.xml file and add .dvd to the <videoextensions> section, then XBMC should try to open it. If it is a full-disc image, it should then play fine.
