Hello,
I recently decide to use my hdmi connection for sound instead of the optical fibers, but in every cases each sound like navigation sound is repeated during 30s .... it's very embarassing.
I've got xbmcbuntu with precise and a radeon hd 4650 graphic card with 12.2 fglrx driver.
I tried to update to 13.6 fglrx legacy, and to install latest radeon driver with uvd support but each solutions are worst.
So could you suggest me any helps or tips?
First tip: post a Debug Log
I post the result of xbmc.log here : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BykceOa4...sp=sharing

I need to post the output of dmesg ?
Ah radeon 4650 with fglrx 13.6 won't work

You radeon is a legacy card - the last working driver is 12.6 legacy (the 13.1 legacy is broken with 100% cpu load).

The log does not look too bad - despite you did not have debugging enabled, therefore i cannot see the audio device which was opened. nor the configuration.
Sorry I made a mistake, it was the 13.1 legacy fglrx instead of 13.6. I cant use it because I've got an agp card ...
I'm going to turn on debbuging and post my xbmc.log.
My new xbmc.log with debbuging enable :
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BykceOa4...sp=sharing

I'm going to google some errors display about hdmi in the xbmc.log .
Can I patch my 12.2 fglrx driver to use it with newer kernel (>3.10) ?
Where can I found it ?
Yes - get the patch out of for example OpenELEC. Check their github. The rest you have to do for yourself.
