This should keep working, as before it worked for abit but then a new patched was needed. read the thread on that site I linked to follow whats been going on. But as of today It works for me thanks to dustinbrett

don't forget to make a backup copy. (rename the original file YouTubePlayer.py.orig and then paste the new file)
Please correct your links. Just copy&paste is not working Wink

I have ATV1 with CrystalBuntu installed. I know how to access it with FileZilla, but I can't seem to find the directory that the youtube addon is installed in.

Where is the actual folder/file so that I can replace it?

Thanks

It should be here ...

Code:
/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/
I'm using Openelec on my Pi (linux)

I went to storage/.xbmc/addons/plugin.video.youtube/

and you want to swap YouTubePlayer.py

I also did a reinstall after posting this thread and it worked out of the box. So I think the addon has been updated, maybe try manualy updating the addon first. I think they just swapped the file themselves anyway so just do my method and your good to go. Repost back if it works
Why not create a PR here to fix it
https://github.com/HenrikDK/youtube-xbmc-plugin
PR?

I believe the patch has been added to the latest release.
I'm pretty sure PR is short for pull request.
I am having this issue in youtube plugin with LE … What shall I do?

Thanks for all
I tried youtube plugin 6.1.4 update and worked better in LE.
