Full Version: Option to turn on debug logging silently

If XBMC crashes for me during playback of a movie, I like to turn on debug logging to see if I can repeat the problem. This gets annoying however, since I then also need to view the realtime input about memory and cpu usage.

Could we get another option under System->Debugging in addition to the "Enable debug logging" option we have today ?

Example

Enable debug logging ( )
Display debug information on screen ( )

Check out this wiki http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Log...Log_levels

You can initiate the debug log in advancedsettings

<advancedsettings><loglevel>2</loglevel></advancedsettings>

e.g. changing the log level might do it for you.
Thanks, I had missed that altogether Smile
