As the title reads, I've just jailbroke my ATV2 and installed XBMC on it, I just don't know where to go from here. How do I open the floodgates of media?!

Welcome to the XBMC forums.
XBMC is primarily used to playback your own media files (video, music, photos), which you may have stored on an internal/external hard drive or on a local file server/NAS. There are also add-ons that will provide you access to legal streaming music and video content. If the "floodgates of media" you're referring to is accessing piracy sites, then we cannot help you here (see forum_rules (wiki)).
For beginner information on how to configure and use XBMC, see the "First time user" section of the wiki (wiki), especially the "Quick Start Guide".
