Hi,

I currently have mysql databases running on my WHS2011 server for my 7 XBMC Clients, I am now building a replacement server and would like to know how to keep all the databases for this? Any help (for a novice) would be fantastic!

The export-import instructions will work for server-to-server just as they do for local-to-server: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...edsettings

Generally speaking, exporting as individual files and then re-scanning/importing is the easiest/safest way to change the database. Those steps should even preserve watch status.

If you're using mysql,then all you need to do is create a mysql backup script. There are plenty you can find on google.
