Is it possible to have two different versions of the same TV series recognized by XBMC? How might you do this?

I assume you are talking about having the original series and a remake? If so, they are usually differentiated by year on thetvdb, so you should do likewise when naming the folders/files for these shows/episodes that have the same titles.

No, I'm talking about exactly the same series, but with different music soundtracks, such is the case with the Roswell series.
