I've deleted all mention of the stuff I dont want from the add-ons folders, etc (zip files, scripts, etc)... but some items remain.

Legion.

Edit: under System / add-ons ... there are no unwanted entries,... yet under Videos / Add-ons / Get More ... is where I'm seeing all the trash. Sad

I got it .... deleted addons15.db Smile ... friggin spam!
Normally, you'd go into System/Settings > Add-ons > Enabled Add-ons > Video Add-ons > open context menu of desired add-on > Add-on information > Uninstall
to remove the add-on from your list of Video Add-ons. But if you deleted the subfolder for a particular add-on in the addons folder, as you said you'd done, that should have removed the add-on from your list as well. What is the full path of the location in which you deleted the add-on folders?

Not sure what you mean by "spam". Are these add-ons that somehow were installed without your consent and now you can't remove them from your list of Video Add-ons?
