Thanks for the update!
Great!
Thank you for Gotham compatibility update.
Guys,

I'm having problem with shutdown/reboot of my Pi.

When i press either of them, Pi hangs but not restarting/shutting down.

I run it from NFS and when I press shutdown/restart network activity goes to 0 but Pi just hangs.

Any idea?

Same on Frodo and Gotham of Raspbmc

Thanks

This can be skin related? Test it in Confluence please.
Hi

I added libraries for Movies and TV Shows, added them as favourites and then added to home screen.

Is there any was I can bring across the 'recently added' and 'recommended" items to them?

Sure.

With added Movies and TV Shows use built in menu items (they will appear automatically when you add movie or tv content) NOT favourite links.
It works fine with Confluence.

Here's my xbmc.log.old from Gotham with Amber

http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=89682

And same system with Confluence

http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=89689

Both taken during "Sutdown" command but the amber on I had to pull the plug 2 min after Pi stopped responding and there was no traffic on NFS.

Any good?

I'm a newbie so do be too harsh if something's wrong....

thanks

OK here's the shutdown command executing properly:

So it is plugin related but don't ask me which one is to blame. Confluence does not have widgets service. Try disabling widgets temporarily and see if that helps?

Well, you can have it for Movies and TV Shows only. If you split up your library with smart playlists we would need an extra script that can recognise those items and populate the shelf without mixing up items from both.

Unfortunately, I have no time or interest in supporting such script ATM, sorry about that.

Your build is not very up to date:
Code:
01:23:52 T:3040837632  NOTICE: Starting XBMC (12.2 Git:20130502-32b1a5e), Platform: Linux (Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 (wheezy), 3.10.17 armv6l). Built on Sep  6 2013

and I don't believe it has this fix in:
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/f4df...58f41135ab

which resulted in unreliably closing of python scripts. Try a newer gotham build.
@popcornmix

You were spot on!

Installed AirPlayFix1 and shutdown works perfect now.

Many thanks
Amber has 16 and Confluence has 16 also but confluence seems to have a scrolling function to it. If I go to the bottom in Amber, which the last option is Video Calibration, it attempts to scroll but doesn't.

Would be nice I you could test. I use default font and testing fonts in different dialogs is very tedious, especially if you don't use them.
Hi, I'd be glad to test it.

I've had a quick look at it and noticed that SourceSansPro font is smaller than Arial was in most of the menus, (like the settings menu) however larger on the home screen and not formatted very well:

Should it be aligned with the bottom edge of the frame or should it be centred as below on 1.0.9 with the Arial font ?

Arial no caps should be OK now?
Hi,

I've just tested 1.2.5 and vertical alignment looks good now but I've still had to revert back to 1.0.9 because the Arial No Caps font is still a lot narrower than the Arial font used in 1.0.9. One of our XBMC systems is running on a 24" screen in a bedroom and the Arial font (as well as the default all caps font) is just too narrow to be comfortably read from a distance, while the 1.0.9 Arial font is easy to read at the same distance.

A couple of comparison shots between 1.0.9 Arial based font and 1.2.5 Arial No caps font:

Hi,

The Amber skin got automatically updated to version 1.2.5. In the past I would edit the includes.xml file to change the standard movies button to point to a self-made playlist. This was achieved by editing the includes.xml to:

Code:
    <item id="4" description="MyMovies">
        ...
      <onclick>ActivateWindow(VideoLibrary,"special://skin/playlists/movies.xsp",return)</onclick>
      </item>

With the new updated skin this is slightly changed and the MyMovies part in the includes.xml now links to a new CustomMoviesHomeButton.xml file. This gives a nice new feature to change the behaviour of the standard movies button, but as I have tested it not exactely like I want it (I would like it to open directly a specific playlist, not all playlists). Is this correct?

If this is not possible via GUI configuration, could somebody give me some guidance in how need to incorporate the above in the new CustomMoviesHomeButton.xml file?

Thanks

Just do it the same way you did it earlier - don't mind CustomMoviesHomeButton at all.
