Good evening from Spain. I've XBMC installed in my Raspberry and iPad (and of course in my old Xbox :-) ) Everything worked fine till I changed my router. Now my address is 192.168.0 instead of 192.168.1 If I change the IP range back to 192.168.1 NFS works again but I'm using a custom firmware in the router so some web access are directed to 192.168.0 This happens both in my RaspPi and iPad that's why I posted here...
Thank you for your help

PD: yes, I've already changed "exports" and restarted nfs server, and I can mount the shared folder accessing tothe Raspberry by ssh.
Usually you can assign a LAN space on your router which will be used for DHCP clients on the LAN.
Some companies use 192.168.0 some use 192.168.1 some use 192.168.10.
Since 192.168.0.0/16 is reserved for private space anyone can use anything in this range.

Since you are running custom firmware I cant be certain but if you update your router to use 192.168.1. instead of 192.168.0. your router should also be updated to a 192.168.1. so any redirects would go to the new IP.

Since most routers also act as a switch this explains why it works if you change to 192.168.1.

I would suggest you change your router to 192.168.1.1/24 and have all clients use DHCP, if the problem persists with the 192.168.0. directed traffic you might want to post on the forum where you got your custom firmware.
Thank you nokdim for your fast reply. I've been checking my old router with 192.168.0 and it doen't work either, but does with 192.168.1 Is there any way I could edit a file in XBMC (I tried sources.xml without success) and make it work?
Probably I'll set 192.168.1 to solve it, it's the easiest way
Thank you again
This is via file mode or via movie database? If the latter then the problem is that the old ip is saved in the database and therefore can't be changed that easily.
