Hi so been happily running along with ATV2 and XBMC but it seems my iOS on atv2 doesnt include MLBtv.com. My gf got MLB.tvt installed just fine on XBMC but I was wondering if there was an easy way to update the ATV2 to get the udpated apps without messing up XBMC in the process.

Updating the ATV2 means you would have to reinstall XBMC, and currently there is only a tethered jailbreak, which means the ATV2 needs a computer to help it startup/reboot every time (it's fine if you just leave it on, though). You can backup your
userdata (wiki) folder using
Cyberduck (wiki) and restore it when you reinstall XBMC.
In any case, backup your SHSH blobs (I don't have a link handy on how to do this, but google should point you in the right direction), so you can downgrade if you want to.
