I have a jetway ion2 nvidia based system, with working HD passthru (TrueHD, DTSMA ) audio and also gui sounds work in xbmc. Unfortunately I cannot make the sound work for netflix-desktop, either run from advanced launcher via openbox or from the xbmcbuntu desktop environment. Video plays fine, no sound. Also no sound for other apps in the xbmcbuntu desktop environment, but as I said before the gui sounds do work in xbmc.
I have tried many different suggested tweaks, nothing has worked for me. Any suggestions on how to start diagnosing the problem?
