My XBOX 360 controller works as first player automatically (though the button config needs to be customized), but I wasnt able to play 2 player with a a Logitech controller as the 2nd player. Is there something special I have to do?
does the logitech controller work as 1st player when the 360 controller isn't plugged in?

EDIT: also, windows or linux?

EDIT: also debug log?
Hmm, should have tested that and included this with original post, sorry about that.
Windows 7 64
After a fresh reboot, only having the logitech controller plugged in it seems that it does not work with XBMC at all, so thats probably the bigger picture here.

**Edit**
Fixed it. Had to add this into a keymap.xml file. Dunno if this could be added anywhere in XBMC in general to make sure its working for anyone that has this. Found a post in the forums for someone else having the same issue elsewhere.

**EDIT 2: after further testing it works fine in XBMC, but doesnt really seem to work in the emu. Seems that it wants to use it but possibly the keymap is messed up or something.

2x post, sorry.
the controller name is "Logitech Dual Action". try adding <altname>Logitech Dual Action</altname> to joystick.Microsoft.Xbox.360.Controller.xml (hint: you'll need to add it exactly 37 times)

EDIT: you need to configure the controller for the <FullscreenGame> window, like this: https://github.com/garbear/xbmc/commit/1be00f9#diff-2
This got it working but the buttons are wrong. Seems the axis is backwards too. Probably just have to mess with config and give it its own.

Edit* Confirmed via control panel that buttons are not the same.

To compare logitech to xbox

A-1
B-2
X-3
Y-4

And if this were the logitech controller

A-2
B-3
X-1
Y-4
does the joystick.Logitech.RumblePad.2.xml keymap do a better job mapping the buttons? if not, create a new keymap called joystick.Logitech.Dual.Action.xml based on the RumblePad 2 or 360 keymap (whichever is initially closest to how you think it should be). Fix the button IDs and axis directions, post the keymap here and I'll include it in the build.
