Hi!
My problem is when I start xbmc directly from console I've got very slow interface and in power off menu I haven't options "shutdown" and "reset".
I use Ubuntu 12.04.3 server with apache2, mpd, transmission-daemon and pulseaudio server (it starts manually for recieving audio streams from laptop)
I've tried to run dbus and ck-launch-session before starting xbmc from console but useless.
I've tried to configure policikit on (Step 4) from wiki but I think in 12.04 this system was changed so it useless.
How to start XBMC from console without slow interface and with full powermanagement?
I've installed lightdm and tried to start XBMC through it. Works very good. But there is the struggle for bytes on my server. It has only 1Gb memory and I doesn't want to have lightdm backgrouded on it. And lightdm mutes pulseaudio while loading and I cant unmute it from XBMC
Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated!!
Hopefully, Dennis.
