i have my external HD hooked up formated to FAT32 and xbmc doesnt recognize my wmv files...

Do you mean you can't get them scraped and into your library or that they won't play when selected through the file browser ?

I hav my external HD hooked up to my OUYA and when I open the file I hav my WMV movie in, it's not there. So I'm guessing it doesn't even recognize it
