I have xbmc installed on a laptop running ubuntu. I plugged my monitor into my laptop via VGA in hopes of watching a movie on my nice monitor. When I move the cursor past the laptop screen and onto my monitor screen and attempt to open XBMC, it just displays on my laptop screen. Any tips?

Figured it out. Just had to turn off the laptop display in Ubuntu display settings. Leave this in case others have the same problem?
