i am not able to play some movies in my xbox with the latest xbmc software ( jan 2006) since it came out september 12th 2005 (the new dvd player) - for instance lord of the rings movie 1 and 2 - no 3 (return of the king) is ok.
can i do something about this?

earlier i was also able to move the subtitles on the screen but not since the new dvd player came - but now i instead have menues.

please start by adding your log file to this thread. this will help us to find the problem.

but i do not understand what you mean with "logfile"?

1) hold down x+y when you launch xbmc to create a debug logfile. you know you are in debug mode if the freemem display shows up

2) play the movie to get the error.

3) ftp into the x-box, copy the log file from your application directory to your pc

4) paste it here or on pastebin.com and post the link

5) read the faq and manual so we don't have to post this for the millionth time
