Hi everyone,
I am browsing TV shows and it will show the cover art to the show but inside of it none of the episodes are showing (just the "..." to go up a directory). Is this a common problem with TV shows and how do I fix this?
Also, some of my TV shows aren't showing at all, even as cover art.

Thanks,
crazy i just posted my own topic about this. anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
Most likely reasons are incorrect naming of episode files ( http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Vid...s/TV_shows ) or there's temporary glitch with thetvdb site.
I don't know why the wiki doesn't show the easiest way with folder structure. This way have being working since Dharma.

Fx. Headfolder named Dexter

In the headfolder make a folder for each season called

Dexter Season 1 (the file naming in this folder is)
1x01
1x02
1x03
Etc.

Dexter Season 2
2x01
2x02
2x03
Etc.

You can do this with every tvshows and it will always work with thetvdb scraper.

If you have a double episode the name should be fx. 1x01-02.

It's working too with DVD ISO files fx the first 4 episodes on a disk, then the naming are 1x01-02-03-04
BTW, season folders are optional. They help to better organize your episodes when using the physical files view, but XBMC can group episodes into the correct seasons in the library view without the need for season folders. Either way, the critical factor is naming the episode files with the correct seaason and episode numbers using one of the accepted naming conventions, as described here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Vid...s/TV_shows
^^ and following the correct name from tvdb. Some shows require a year, like Castle (2009).
