Hi - newb here...

Want to install mythtv on my Live USB Xbmcbuntu - but am missing something basic i'm sure:

1. CTRL + ALT + F1 to get terminal
2. sudo apt-get install mythbuntu-control-centre
3. result is ... "E: Cannot locate package "

Please can someone educate me what i'm doing wrong?

sudo apt-get install mythtv or sudo apt-get install mythbuntu-control-centre

My apologies - typo in first post now corrected - it was syntax you suggested black_eagle but same error still...

What is 'live usb xbmcbuntu'? Did you dovan install?

I have created a bootable USB drive of Xbmcbuntu... And am running Xbmc in Live mode... Not installed on the HDD of the hardware...

Thats your problem then.
