Hi Everyone,
I've done a search for this but couldn't find anything. Just wondering if this would be suitable to run XBMC?
Specs:
AMD A4-5000 Quad Core
4gb Ram
500gb Hard drive
AMD Radeon HD8330 graphics.
At £160 it looks ok to me but I'm certainly no expert!
Kabini APU is perfectly fine for XBMC
Case looks quite nice too for PC.
Thanks Meelisv,
Case looks really nice, so does the price
Forgot to mention I'll want to run this on Linux, will this still be ok?
Where can you get it for £160, Amazon.co.uk have it £259.99 ?
That's a bit of a bargain, that!!
D.
I have the same issue just bought a xc-150 installed xbmcubunti frodo but very slow in display refresh rate is 0.00 tried installing 12.2 amd and comes up with ucode errors im a newbie and have always just burnt to cd and installed and worked any help would be very appreciated
Hi, I bought Acer XC-105 and install Windows 8, I downloaded the drivers from Acer website. The XBMC plays smoothly. Even the largest file of 1080p of any format plays brilliantly. VLC plays smooth as well.
Beware:
Some people complained about lack of usb3 driver on Windows 7. The downloads on Acer website is for Windows 8
And some ppl complained about Ubuntu that the Xbmc was jumpy.
