I would like XBMC to startup in fullscreen on Windows 8, along with uTorrent in the background. I have tried XBMCLauncher but it only seems to run fullscreen if I have it set to Shell, however by doing this nothing else seems to start up including uTorrent. Is there any way to run XBMC fullscreen + uTorrent while keeping Windows 8 shell?

You could try Eventghost.

You can start utorrent or any other application using xbmclauncher.

Set xbmclauncher as shell
Set xbmc to start at logon
Add utorrent as an external application and allow it to start with launcher.
