Over 2 years ago I found a bug in XBMC audio mixer that was reported here by another user and supposedly fixed
It has either reared its ugly head again or it has never been fixed!
configuration
xbmc audio mixer
xbmc 12.2 frodo
XBMC Linux, or crystalbuntu and probably, OE for ATV1
Using Apple Remote user gets stuck in audio mixer with no way of exiting. A reboot or power cycle is required after selecting XBMC audio mixer!
menu key should work as exit as it does with all other add ons, except the audio mixer
I will not make an official bug report as most seem to not go anywhere anyway as evidenced by this issue, and last I checked the bug reports process seemed convoluted. I hope someone can look into it based on this post
