I am curious i am getting a PIVOS DS in today and was going to try running xbmc with hardware acceleration on it. IS that possible? I have an OUYA but this having to unplug and replug the hdmi cable when i am listening to something with surround sound is annoying. and im running a sideloaded version not the store version i know about the issues there.

Yes you get hardware acceleration on the Pivos, but you need to use the build from their website/forum.

Thank you I'll look into it. Not sure I'll be happy with a single core device when my Apple TV 2 is even not that fast.
