I've recently set-up xbmc (latest raspbmc) and I've written a small python script (triggered through cron) to download a few video podcasts (mp4 format). I know I could stream the podcasts through xbmc but my internet bandwidth is being a bit spotty at the moment and I'm fed-up of it buffering to often.
So now the files are on the pi, I've added the directory into the video sources and I've created a smart playlist to show the episodes I haven't watched yet (type mixed, path starts with "/media/xbmc_external/Video Podcasts/" and playcount is 0) but nothing is appearing in the playlist. Am I missing a step?
