I've updated to Mavericks and now I'm using both the 12.2 adapted for Mavericks and the Gotham nightly build, in both cases I experienced a slow down when I use jump forward command to jump 10 or 30 seconds. It seems like a buffering or I don't know... but is annoying
I see this thing both playing movies from a NAS and from local harddrive.

Yep, we're seeing it too and devs are looking into it. We're hoping it will be fixed for the full 12.3 release. Till then, keep an eye out on the pre12.3 test builds: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=176721

This seems to be an issue related to hardware acceleration support in mavericks. Playing video in VLC or Plex is no problem. After upgrading to Mavericks and Gotham 13.0, seeking in movies is slow as hell.

I don't know but I tried disabling hardware acceleration but nothing has changed...
