Hi friends,

I was running XBMC with no problems so far but now it is being extremely slow when playing certain videos (arround 3 or 4 fps)
I think it can be related to a windows sudden close I had a week ago (a storm shut off lights at home).
Is it possible that some codecs were harmed? Is there a way to retrieve them?

I can playback outside XBMC with no problems so I guess I can resolve the problem by installing XBMC again...

Check audio settings

That worked! Thank you so much!

It took me sometime to understand your solution, I was navegating through the settings and weren't able to find any Audio adjutments menu.
Finally I opened the video and found the audio settings inside. Changing the Audio output from "ACH 5.1" to "Stereo" resolved the problem.

I don't know if my problem was so obvious but I could never figure out this solution without your help, very grateful!
