I know how to customize the menu to suit my needs however, I can't seem to figure out how to make ANOX play a Blu-ray or DVD from the title menu (or anywhere actually).

Anyone know how to add create the menu (not sub) to PLAY A DISC? Do I need to get a add-on to take care of this?

Main menu customizer > Click on a custom main menu > Choose Type > Pre-Defined Functions > Play DVD.

Unfortunately that didn't work. I selected custom menu type Pre-Defined Functions > Play DVD : no submenu.

Afterward I stuck in a Blu-ray and the when I clicked the new menu item it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions?

You need anydvd hd to run in the background, otherwise blu-rays will not play (at lease that is what happens in my system). Did you try DVD disks?
