Does that mean both always work, or sometimes it is one and other times the other?

I just tried 0.85 downloaded as a zip from GIT. My blu ray rips continue to not play. Have you made any changes to accommodate a blu yay folder?
I just checked in an attempt to fix this - can you try it?

are you sure you are running the latest version from Git?

Sorry if this has already been covered. I've been browsing through the thread but haven't finished the whole thing. I'm searching for a way to be able to view my movies on my iphone over the internet and MB3 looks hopeful. I'm not sure what I need to do to get the server setup though. All I really need is just a basic index of media with posters and maybe backdrops. I would prefer not to have to modify my skin that I use on my HTPC if possible. Keeping track of all the mods gets complicated after a while. Just want to have the ability to view my movies remotely. Perhaps someone can point me to a basic guide of what is required?

Done.

Yes, MB3 will do that.
Install the server and go through the guide here:

Further general MB3 questions should be posted on the MB3 site as this has nothing to do with XBMC.

smitopher - if you are positive you have the latest Git then we need the full log file with debug turned on in the AddOn.
The code added is this:
Code:
if (result.get("VideoType") == "Bluray"):
playurl = playurl + "/BDMV/index.bdmv"
According to the MB3 devs 'Bluray' is what the database will return for this type of item - however I don't have any so I cannot verify.

[EDIT] Actually please get the Git again - I added a debug print that will be needed.

Just curious if you were still planning on making the hack for 4.1.9 Gotham AeonNox?
Of course! You made a valiant attempt - though sadly not going anywhere.
I'll have it done this weekend.

P.S. We seriously need more people helping with skin stuff - honestly I promise if you mess with it a bit it is easy.
Uhhh... Sorry but I am going to have to go back on my word on this. I spent 1/2 hour this morning taking a look, and Aeon Nox 4.1.9 is MASSIVELY different from 4.0.9. It would take me two hours of tedious text editing even to make an attempt - and honestly I don't see why to bother when 4.0.9 works just fine.
If you really want this, I will edit one of the widgets and explain what you need to do to fix the rest of them.

Downloaded and installed a zip from github master and set the plugin debug log on.

Somehow your 'default.py' is not actually getting updated.
I am not seeing the new print statement I put in in that log.
Open your default.py and looks at lines 959 and 960. They should be:
if (result.get("VideoType") == "Bluray"):
playurl = playurl + "/BDMV/index.bdmv"
and line 996 should be:
printDebug("Play jsonData: " + jsonData)

I don't think you can "install" the zip, the version number has not increased so I think the installer does nothing, you need to copy the files form the zip manually.
delete the zip file in packages or rename the downloaded zip file each time to something else. know bug
