Hi,

I intend to setup a Linux xbmc server with MythTV connected to my satellite system.

My question is:
Can a linux PC connect to he xmbc server and view TV/listen to radio and select which channel to view or listen to?

No you have it round the wrong way. Your linux pc can connect to mythtv. It is client-server by design. You can connect to the mythtv backend via mythfrontend, or via the xbmc cmyth pvr client.
