HI there,

i've added my music file to the library on different dates and now the library on the XBMC remote the artists are sorted by date [added on the library] Is there any way I can sort them by name?

I've got the same problem in the latest version. When using Artist view, a good portion of my Artists are sorted alphabetically, but all new Artists I add to my library are tacked on at the end of the list in XBMC Remote for Android. It makes it incredibly difficult to find music with a large Music library. XBMC Remote for iPad doesn't do this.

Any way to fix this?

so this app is pretty much dead now?

honestly, sorting artists by artist ID makes the app worthless. who thought that was a good idea?

guess i need an iphone to get a decent xbmc remote - that one works fine on my ipad.

You may want to try alternatives like Yatse
