Hi,

Please help! every time i watch a video it hangs after a period of time - sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes more - and then goes back to the xbmc interface. This has only started happening since i changed router, could it be a network problem?

Im using a Acer Aspire Revo 3700
Ubuntu 13.04 mini
XBMC nightly
Films are stored on a NAS.

Probably is your router, especially if that's the only thing that has changed:

Do you have the same problem with vlc or other programs when streaming? Or copying a file?

You could also try updating the routers firmware.

easy test: copy the same file to internal hdd and try again. If it works, the issue is your router or samba server.

thanks for replies. ive changed to a netgear router rather than the BT home hub 5 and all is working fine again.
