Full Version: video problem after updating to 12.2

Hi all,

I recently finally took the time to update my HTPC to xbmc 12.2 from XBMC 11.X (don't remember which one), and some videos that used to work fine now see a significant drop in frame rate, followed by a "catch up" (it slows down and accelerates continuously).

My machine is a Zotac zbox nano ad-10 (specs: here)
xbmc 12.2 (Git:32b1a5e (compiled: May 2 2013))
Debug log: http://pastebin.com/8064bU5e

Please tell me if you need any other info.

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers,

dekox

you won't have much fun with an E350 without hardware acceleration.
Thanks. Why do I suddenly need hardware acceleration? It used to work on xbmc 11.

This tutorial is really quite technical for a complete Linux novice like me. Is there one which is a bit more noob friendly?
you never had any hardware acceleration with your E-350, so you probably didn't play any HD material(or only low bitrate 720p). And no, there is no other way to get it running at the moment.
