I jailbroke my Apple TV 4 times now using seas0n pass, installed XBMC and each time all works fine. However, anytime I unplug Apple TV to move it to a different room, its basically bricked. All I get on the TV is the loading icon. The Apple TV will not boot. So I have to factory reset, re-jailbreak and re-install XBMC. Every time, same thing. Works fine until I unplug the power. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a known fix?
Been a while since I owned an Apple TV, but I'm pretty sure the Season Pass jailbreak for the Apple TV is considered "tethered". This means whenever you power off the Apple TV you have to connect it back to Season Pass (usb cable to computer) to power it back on. However you should not need to factory reset, reinstall, etc. Search for this on other Apple jailbreak related forums and you'll find the correct method to power it back on.
