I have a plugin that shows shows for up to 24hrs after they have been [played live on TV.
How can I use tvheadend to record the show when I click play in the plugin?
TVH seems to be only able to record live TV.

TVHeadend can indeed only record live TV.

So, how can you record shows played through a plugin?
You don't. Some add-ons have a download option for the files they access, but there is no "record" in XBMC for whatever is playing.
