Next week I will receive a Minix neo X7 mini. Question: Will XMBC run out of the box or do I have to modifiy the OS or so for smooth running. I am especially interested in playing SD videos from my NAS.

Very excited about this little guy, I am in South Africa and mine arrived today.

Any advice on how to get this little dude humming?

Maybe added software or tips and tricks?

Neo is cool...

I am running it with the latest version of the vendor system. Unless you want extreme HD resolution this is quite well working. There is also a customized XBMC version in the download sector of Minix website that works great.
