The first error indicates that pulseaudio is not installed at your machine. The second one is because I accidently swaped pulseaudio and remove. I edited my post. Sorry.
ok

media@xbmc:~$ sudo update-rc.d -f pulseaudio remove
Removing any system startup links for /etc/init.d/pulseaudio ...
media@xbmc:~$ sudo reboot

Broadcast message from media@xbmc

The system is going down for reboot NOW!

but also no sound. System -> System -> Audio -> HDMI, 2.0, Stero on all Audio 1 = PulseAudio Sound Server, Audio 2 (Digital) = S/PDIF
@umrotzer

My first post was not specifically directed at you, but was meant as an alternative way for everyone who does not want to completely deinstall pulseaudio. Since you already deinstalled it like you mentioned, it doesn't help if you also disable auto startup. I am afraid I can't help you with your specific problem. Sorry :-(
ok thx and i hope someone else can help me
someone else there, who can help me
where did you get xbmc from? looks like it was compiled with pulse enabled which should be avoided.
i get it from here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBM..._XBMCbuntu

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties pkg-config
sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install xbmc xbmc.bin
* un1versal thinks that is incorrect
that mean?
I think it means: It can't be true that you got xbmc from ppa:team-xbmc/ppa, because then you wouldn't be able to choose 'Pulse Audio Sound Server' in xbmc, as support for pulse doesn't exist in official builds.

ok, this is the correct package. Make sure you selected the correct audio device in xbmc. If it still does not work, pastebin a debug log(see my sig)
