I am setting up xbmc on my Raspberry Pi and have set up a firewall. I need to know which ports to open to allow xbmc to communicate over the network. I have googled but have not been able to find this information. I thought I would try here before resorting to wireshark. ;-)
Andrew.
Connecting to what? Your smb server? Your nfs server?
I'm specifically interested in the UPnP stuff, but I'm guessing there is a page somewhere with a full list that I just can't find.
Thanks
Andrew.
There was a post recently about that where the poster discovered that upnp used some non standard ports on xbmc. Try searching the forum.
But why do you need a firewall on your lan?
